Blue Plaque in Cinderford

We’re going Plaque to Cinderford! On Tuesday, March 18th, we’ll be coming home for the unveiling of our blue plaque in Cinderford Town Centre. We are so proud to be recognised in this way at the very place where we started our journey all those years ago. It would be great if you could join us for the unveiling, which will take place at 11:30am, followed by a pint or 2 in the Golden Lion!

"Reach for the Lasers" is our celebration of the dance floor. James has always been the representative of electronic dance music within EMF and the combination of that with Ian’s indie rock guitars is what makes the EMF sound. This song is EMF paying homage to all those moments we find ourselves feeling uplifted, in a crowd of elated people, hands in the air worshipping at the altar of those great DJ’s that can bring people together in a frenzy of love and ecstasy. The core of the song being James’ list of his all-time greats, no prizes for guessing his favourite: Andy Weatherall comes 4 times. Calling all ravers!

It was an absolute honour and privilege to have Ralph back on board with us. We’re all extremely proud of this album and can’t wait to share it with you.
